Powell Ayuda Al Alza De Los Índices Bursátiles Estadounidenses

Jerome Powell, el presidente de la Reserva Federal (Fed), en su comparecencia ante el Comité de Servicios Financieros de la Casa de Representantes (cámara baja del Congreso de Estados Unidos) habló sobre la ralentización económica que está viviendo Estados Unidos en estos momentos, lo que generó que las probabilidades de recortes de tasa de tipos de interés a finales de este mes aumentaran.

Esta situación causó que los índices estadounidenses aumentaran durante el día, aunque el movimiento fue cauteloso debido a la gran incertidumbre sobre este tema. El Dow Jones 30 ha subido más de +0,29 % llegando al nivel de 26.858,50 acercándose a máximos históricos. Sin embargo, al cierre de la jornada estadounidense el movimiento comienza a minimizarse, pues durante esta jornada de jueves se tendrá otra comparecencia de Powell.

Análisis Técnico

En el gráfico diario del Dow Jones 30 se puede observar que, el precio se ubica muy cercano a niveles máximos en 27.008,44. Sin embargo, las velas de los últimos días se caracterizan por ser peonzas demostrando el gran momento de indecisión que se vive en estos momentos.

En cuanto a los indicadores técnicos, se pude ver que los alcistas comienzan a recuperar su fuerza pues la línea DI+ del indicador ADX ha comenzado a subir por encima del nivel de 20. Además, el oscilador %R sigue ubicándose en zona de sobrecompra sin señales de cambio, por lo que es probable que se generen nuevos máximos en próximos días. Eso sí, esto dependerá del discurso de Powell y la decisión final de tasas de interés a finales del mes.
