Pivot points are price levels calculated from the previous period's high, low and close. Traders use them as potential support and resistance zones: prices trading above the pivot are considered bullish, below it bearish.We provide five common calculation methods — Classic, Fibonacci, Camarilla, Woodie and DeMark — each producing slightly different levels.
