Pakistan's annual inflation rate slightly eased to 6.1% in November 2025 from a one-year high of 6.2% in October. Price growth marginally slowed for food and non-alcoholic beverages (5.5% vs 5.6% in October), as the decline in perishable food items (-3.7% vs -1.7%) was offset by a pick-up in inflation for non-perishable food items (7.3% vs 6.3%). Inflation also eased for clothing and footwear (6.5% vs 8.1%), furnishing and household maintenance (3.5% vs 4.0%), health (8.3% vs 9.7%), and restaurants and hotels (5.3% vs 6.1%). Meanwhile, costs continued to decline for recreation and culture (-4.1% vs -3.7%). Conversely, price growth accelerated for housing and utilities to 5.3% from 4.2% in October. On a monthly basis, consumer prices rose 0.4%, following a 1.8% jump in the previous period. In the meantime, annual urban inflation increased to 6.1% from 6.0% in October, while the rural inflation rate eased to 6.3% from 6.6%.
