Industrial production in Taiwan rose by 13.65% year-on-year in March 2025, easing from an upwardly revised 18.21% gain in the previous month. Output declined for mining and quarrying (-5.16% vs 3.13% in February) and electricity and gas supply (-5.31% vs -1.36%). Meanwhile, production increased at a faster pace for manufacturing (19.29% vs 14.71%), while water supply also recovered (0.15% vs -2.03). On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, industrial activity dropped by 0.55% in March, following an upwardly revised 5.05% gain in the previous month.
