Cabo Verde Tasa De Inflación

The annual inflation rate in Cape Verde decelerated to 2.2% in September 2025 from a two-year high of 2.8% in the prior month. Prices moderated primarily for food & non-alcoholic beverages (0.6% vs 1.9% in August); miscellaneous goods & services (2.9% vs 4.5%) and housing & utilities (5.2% vs 5.5%). Additionally, prices fell for transportation (-0.2% vs 1.5%). On the other hand, the biggest increases were seen for clothing & footwear (15.3% vs 13.2%); hotels, cafes & restaurants (9.4% vs 9.1%) and alcoholic beverages & tobacco (5.8% vs 5.7%). On a monthly basis, the CPI fell by 0.4% in September, after a 0.2% increase in the previous month.
