Zona Euro Services Sentiment

The index measuring services sentiment in the Euro Area rose to 4.0 in October of 2025 from the upwardly revised 3.7 in the previous month, reflecting the highest reading in three months and above market expectations of 3.3. Improvements were noted for overall demand in the last three months (3.9 vs 2.5 in September), improving the expectations of employment levels in the upcoming quarter ( 1.1 vs 0.3). This offsetting lower confidence in expectations on the evolution of demand conditions (8.7 vs 10), although the subindex remained at the third-highest level this year. In turn, selling-price expectations inched lower (12.2 vs 12.5).
