Reino Unido Monthly GDP MoM

The British economy grew by 0.2% month-over-month in March 2025, just ahead of a major tax hike on employers and an anticipated announcement from President Trump on sweeping global tariffs. The expansion followed a 0.5% increase in February and exceeded market expectations of flat growth. The services sector drove the gain, with output rising 0.4%, following an unrevised 0.3% increase the previous month. Construction output also strengthened, growing by 0.5% after a downwardly revised 0.2% rise in February. However, industrial production declined by 0.7%, reversing part of the upwardly revised 1.7% gain recorded in the prior month. On an annual basis, GDP expanded by 1.1%.
